Moillard Mersault 2016 White Burgundy

This wine is Meursault Premier Cru from the Les Charmes vineyard in the heart of the Cote de Beaune. At 600 to 1000 feet with exposures to the east and southeast the vineyard has excellent limestone and marl soil. The Chardonnay grapes ripen beautifully here. The grapes are pressed immediately upon arrival at the winery in pneumatic presses and fermentation is carried out in oak barrels.
